49' woes..

       I have been thinking about my 49' Dodge too much lately. I had to sell it a year ago to  make some ends meet. I need another flathead Mopar soon. MAN!!!! that 251 L6 purrrrrred.. didn't stop well, but purred none the less.

Well I just sold my old pick up, but the guy who bought it was really into it. I am glad that he is going to take care of it. Until we meet again my friend... until we meet again.

I have put this 49' Dodge on the back burner so I can finish my Triumph project. Good reason, right? So I just thought I would give some love out to the Dodge that has been waiting for some needed attention.

But I have too, SHE IS FOR SALE.. MY TRUCK... I get so attached.. to these Mopars, I just want to save them all.

The other day I spotted some Desoto parts on CL so I called the guy and picked them up on the cheap... nice guy... When I got home I took the parts apart, and found this .. crazy shit.. looks like a coffee can rotted...

This dent in the door was a lot worse than this when I got the car, a creased dent, bad news.. The good news is there's more of them so I won't get bored..
