Spencer's Triumph update/madness!!!!

Spencer has been down with the Triumph forever, and has poured so much of his heart and soul into it. The time had come for glory!!!! He's been all over this build, and has had some great wizard help from Steve Hamel. This Triumph is going to be a diamond in the ruff time that he's had with it.

Got to make this work. 9/16 too big at each mount with this fender set up. Spacers? Weld in new metal to fit? Find new sissy bar? Or use other????

searching for starter ghost

Pulled out this starter to see what was making the slipping / grinding noise. Everything was taken apart and looked at carefully, but nothing sketchy was found. All the the starters teeth were fine, a.k.a no cavities found, onto the solenoid for testing. I'm going in blind any help is good help.

49' woes..

       I have been thinking about my 49' Dodge too much lately. I had to sell it a year ago to  make some ends meet. I need another flathead Mopar soon. MAN!!!! that 251 L6 purrrrrred.. didn't stop well, but purred none the less.

Merry Christmas 2011

Today it was 42 degrees outside on Christmas, my birthday too, and I got the bike out for a bit. Ice and snow still in spots, so watch out. Took some shots of St. Paul MN and then headed up to smokeshop to meet some friends.. look at this Opus X and scotch.. HOLY... Best Christmas in MN ever..!!! Then I got home to a hand carved pipe..today was a good day.

20 amp fuse woes....

Man what is up? I just get my bike back and everything is great.. then shut down.. fuse.. replace.. go on way.. bang! again.. replace blown.. sits for 3 hours.. new 20 amp fuse starts right up?????? W.T.F. I got to get to the Bearded lady motorcycle show sat...
better run good tomorrow,, DAMN THAT LUCAS!
